GREG WCHBGregory Frazer, PhD, AuD, CCC-A, ABA, NBC-HIS

Director of Audiology, Thousand Oaks Office

Dr. Gregory Frazer entered private practice Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing in 1982. For 14 years he owned and operated Hearing Care Associates, which had 23 offices and was one of the largest audiology private practices in the U.S. Dr. Frazer is a well-known clinician and teacher, and was the first audiologist to obtain dual doctorates in Audiology, both a PhD. in Audiology as well as the new Clinical Doctorate of Audiology, the AuD. He is UC San Diego/San Diego State University Adjunct Professor in Audiology 2008-Present, and Clinical Adjunct Faculty at University of Texas in Dallas 2011-present. He is Board Certified by Board for American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, American Academy of Audiology, and the National Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences.

Dr. Carissa Bennett graduated with honors from UC Santa Barbara in Speech and Hearing Science in 1978, obtained a Masters in Audiology from the University of Washington in 1981, and an AuD in Audiology from the Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2003. She was an Audiologist at the House Ear Clinic in Los Angeles from 1981-1986, with an emphasis on medical-legal audiology with Aram Glorig, MD, and conducted hearing aid research with James Sheehy, MD. She entered private practice in1986 with Dr. Gregory Frazer and co-owned and operated Hearing Care Associates. Dr. Bennett is experienced in working with infants, children, and adults, and specializes in diagnostic audiological evaluations. Dr. Bennett is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association. Her Hobbies are reading, music, and international cuisine.


Lance 1027Lance Nelson, AuD, CCC-A
Audiologist& Co-Director, Camarillo & Oxnard Offices

Dr. Lance Nelson graduated with his AuD from Purdue University in 2010. He worked at Spokane ENT Associates, Lafayette ENT Associates, and at the Lafayette Otolaryngology Associates. Dr. Nelson is experienced in working with infants, children and adults, is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the California Academy of Audiology. His research on Digital Noise Reduction was published in 2009. He is fluent in Spanish. His hobbies are ocean sports, running and music.


Jennifer Kwast, MA, CCC-A

Jennifer Kwast graduated from UC Santa Barbara in Speech and Hearing Science in 1993, and obtained a MA in Audiology from the University of Northern Colorado in 1996. Over the past 15 years Jennifer obtained extensive experience in Audiology working at the California Ear Institute at Stanford, Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford, Children’s Hospital of Oakland, and the Michigan ENT Consultants. Jennifer is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and specializes in working with infants and children, as well as adults. Jennifer enjoys coaching soccer and spending time with her family.


Janna79Janna Cline-Chanes, MA, CCC-A

Janna Cline-Chanes graduated from UC Santa Barbara in Speech and Hearing Science in 1983, and obtained a MS in Audiology from the University of North Texas (Denton) in 1984. Over the past 25 years, Janna obtained extensive experience in Audiology working at Cigna, Friendly Hills Medical Group and at several ENT offices. Janna is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is experienced in working with infants, children and adults. Janna enjoys hiking, traveling and volunteering at the local food bank and animal shelter.


ErinErin Richardson, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Erin Richardson graduated from The University of Redlands in 2006 and obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from Northwestern University in 2013. She completed her audiology internship year with our practice and remained on the staff following graduation. Dr. Richardson is experienced in diagnostic audiological evaluations and hearing aids for both children and adults. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, Academy of Doctors of Audiology and is Board Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. In her spare time Dr. Richardson enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, traveling, and attending concerts.


JohnJohn Davis, AuD

Dr. John Davis graduated with his doctorate in audiology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2013. He Previously worked at Philadelphia ENT Associates and Cooper University Hospital in Camden NJ. Dr. Davis is board Certified by the American Board of Audiology. He coauthored several research studies in the areas of hearing loss and vestibular evaluation. His independent research identifying alternative modalities for prognosticating idiopathic hemifacial palsy was published in 2013. He specializes in hearing and vestibular diagnostics, as well as amplification technology in adults, and is experienced in working with all populations. Dr. Davis enjoys running and music.


Hang 997 (1)Hang Lam, AuD

Dr. Hang Lam graduated with a AuD from UC San Diego/San Diego State University joint audiology program in 2014. She completed her audiology internship and remained on staff following graduation. She is experienced with working with all age groups and populations. Dr. Lam is a member of the Academy of Doctors of Audiology, and the American Academy of Audiology. Hang speaks Vietnamese and enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, snowboarding, archery, disc golf, cooking, acoustic guitar, arts and craft projects including jewelry making, painting, flower pressing and cross stitching.


Lydia Heays, AuD

Dr. Lydia Heays graduated with her doctorate in audiology in 2017 from A.T. Still University in Phoenix, AZ. Her clinical experiences include rotations in a variety of private practices, ENT practices, and educational settings. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Portland State University in 2012 with emphasis in American Sign Language and Family Studies. Lydia is from Santa Barbara and spent several years working and volunteering with developmentally disabled children and adults in the region before choosing to pursue a career in Audiology. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, biking, and vegetarian cooking.
