The company’s first hearing aid was released in 1947 under their original name, Danavox. After the acquisition of Danavox in 1977 by GN Store Nord, who also owns Beltone, the hearing aid manufacturer started producing hearing aids using the ReSound trademark, releasing their first hearing aid with digital processing in 1992.
